Adventures in Monoprinting

I know the world is a little (a lot) messed up these days.  We are all under some form of quarantine.  There are thousands, if not millions, of people protesting for social change.  One of the ways I look for sanity in these times is by making art.  Lately, I have been working with monoprints.  They let me be very free and spontaneous, and escape, if only briefly from the world around me.  Please take a look at my recent work below, and take a break from the craziness that surrounds us all.

What is a monoprint?

Monoprinting is a form of printmaking made by drawing or painting on a smooth, non-absorbant surface.  The image is then transferred onto a sheet of paper by pressing the two together.  Each monoprint is a unique artwork.

I am offering each of these unique monoprints for $50.00.  They are all 6" x 6" images on 8" x 10" paper.  If you are interested in one, click on the below the image, or contact me.
